We stayed Estancia el Olivo for 6 days just after Easter. The hotel was special, close to the main plaza, which is the most beautiful in Colombia. Both Heli and Ruby (the hosts) were impecable and catered tom our every need and constant baggering for information about things to do etc
Ville de leyva is a special place in Colombia, I have lived here 3 years and thsi was my first time to this wonderful colonial town. The people are warm and welcoming and there is plenty to see an do.
I highly recomend staying at the Estancia el Olivo and enjoying the wonderful hospitality and clean, modern, stylish rooms on offer.
Villa de Leyva… volviendo al pasado de abolengos culturales. Pueblo colonial, súper tranquilo. Los sitios que recorrí tienen una magia romántica y soñadora. Es como si regresara rápidamente a la tradición de los próceres heroicos y memorables de la historia criolla colombiana. Me encontré con un lugar mágico, un lugar protegido con montañas, clima primaveral y florecido. De su gastronomía mi recuerdo placentero y delicioso… Villa de Leyva, sencillamente seductora.
